Collapse.
It looks more and more likely that we are heading to "collapse" sometime this century, since there doesn't seem to be enough of a global response to the risks and challenges (that are potentially civilization-ending this century) of "The Great Unraveling."
The word "collapse" is used here in two different ways. When used to talk about global "collapse" it means an event and when used to describe local (nation-state) "collapse" it means a process.
