"Biometrics are a system of measuring features of the human body. All measurement system it have two factors, accuracy and precision.

Accuracy is how well you can measure it, for example to the nearest mm or hundreth of a mm.

Precision is the repeatability of your measurement. In this case you measure the same thing multiple times you will get a variation in answers.

No current measurement system delivers 100% accuracy and 100% precision. Therefore biometrics can not be 100% reliable."
