Ensemble Prévenons l’Obésité Des Enfants

Ensemble Prévenons l’Obésité Des Enfants (EPODE) [1] is a coordinated, capacity-building approach for communities to help them change local social norms, behaviours and environment and have an impact to improve and promote healthy lifestyles. EPODE’s goal is to enable community stakeholders to implement effective and sustainable strategies to prevent childhood obesity and NCDs at the local level. The EPODE methodology was shaped over five years of pilot implementation in France in 10 towns, and is now being used in some 300 worldwide [2].
