We need to work on other risks and challenges as well.
Let those who can work on climate change do so. That disaster is upon us already and people are needed to work on other 21st Century risks and challenges.
In other words we cannot stop climate change, we can only reduce its effects. So we might as well work on what we can, with climate action as one of our top priorities.
