John Ryan

John Ryan, CEO of Wire the World Now (WTW) has the aim to bring broadband connectivity and advanced data services to the remaining two-thirds of the world population that does not have Internet access. The key to WTW’s approach is a radical, low cost approach to broadband deployment focused on simplified network architecture and over the top (“OTT”) IP applications.

John is a longtime advisor to telco CEOs and CTOs, network and corporate strategy; director of program management at Google, overseeing multiple ‘moonshot’ programs; strategy and operations for One Laptop Per Child.
