Digital Identity

A digital Identity is another layer of abstraction beyond the virtual self

A digital identity relies upon data and integration of data sourced without controls, or safeguards that any reasonable person expects.

Digital Identities are a means to authenticate a person, although the expectation often fails to validate people without any meaningful way to correct failures.

Digital Identity providers are not coordinated in their usage and there are no meaningful ways for a physical person to share their validation performed by one organization/agency with other organizations or agencies.  No value or low value for consumers or members of civil society.
