10YFP Trust Fund
1. Introduction
The Secretariat of the 10 Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns (10YFP) invites governments, government agencies and not-for-profit organizations, from developing countries and countries with economies in transition to present proposals to the 10YFP Trust Fund for the 10YFP Sustainable Tourism Programme.

The purpose of the Call for Proposals is to support eligible sustainable tourism proposals that meet the needs of countries &/or regions, as well as the requirements of the 10YFP (see 10YFP Guidance on Calls for Proposals) while facilitating the implementation of the Programme of Work of the10YFP Sustainable Tourism Programme (10YFP STP), as presented in Annex 1.
The Call for Proposals is intended to bring tourism stakeholders together to collaborate on project development and implementation and to deliver tangible and transformative results in countries and regions.  To this end, collective impact will be achieved through joint activities of project stakeholders, which is fundamental for achieving the objectives of the 10YFP and accelerating the global shift to sustainable consumption and production.
This Announcement & General Information will assist prospective applicants in the preparation and completion of proposals. Apart from this document, the 10YFP Secretariat has provided the following documents for use by project applicants:
•    The 10YFP Trust Fund Guidance on Calls for Proposals from the 10YFP Secretariat;
•    The 10YFP Trust Fund Application Form;
•    Information and the budget forms.
It the responsibility of the applicant to prepare proposals that fully respond to the requirements of these guidance documents.
