Necessary platforms: anything that can display an internet browser.
How is it different from a content management system: CMS's allow for content to be entered and stored in highly structured and very inflexible ways: eg: Moodle, Blackboard, Endnote, ROMS. Their user interfaces determine the way that info. is displayed. Debategraph is a tool that provides lots of flexibility around how the content can be organised and displayed.
Debategraph allows for egalitarian and transparant participation in the intersubjective space that exists outside of my and your mind but is the place where our minds connect. It provides a means by which I can have your participation in my learning and negotiation process. I get to have your eyes and your wisdom on my process and vice versa.
