Business Management Systems
The foundation of a business by design would enable the workers to effectively execute their work activities in the form of task as defined by their informal or formal processes.
Much confusion surfaced as a result of the introduction of a technology which should have enabled the workers to deliver their processes, unfortunately a massive undertaking of capturing the processes made the delivery of the technology far more difficult and often prevented the workers from adapting to known and knowable situations.
A business management system predates the process modeling and process technology discussion with a coarse grain understanding of the work and groups within an organization who sequentially feed their inputs as an output into a different group for their inputs to enrich the information or knowledge as it forms during the transaction life cycle.
We consider the means of implementation or how the transaction life cycle can be delivered as a result of the appropriate format and structure of information in the design of a strategy and vision or business process 1, according to APQC business process framework.
