Master data or master records in an ERP system - the organizations party, offers and financial account codes with descriptions.
These are slowly changing with formal change control process. Every transaction derived from the master record would include 1 of each identity type on each transaction.
The pricing, tax and other financial results on a transaction will be altered if the attributes on a master record are altered by anyone else outside the small user group with
