How to participate
In this online phase of the TNC2015 project we will use DebateGraph to think together about each of the main three themes.
This thinking will be in three parts:
- 'barn raising' hour, Saturday, May 30th, 3-4PM BST
- co-deliberation thereafter across the next week and beyond.
(1) Preparation
To prepare for the barn raising hour, we invite you to
- Accept the invitation to the Tesla map (which you will receive via email shortly) or register with DebateGraph.
- explore and become familiar with Tesla map and DebateGraph and the information provided on this map.
- think about what the material means to you.
(2) Barn raising, Saturday May 30th, 3-4PM BST
During the 'barn raising' hour we will
- meet on GoToMeeting, where you'll join either through the provided Internet address or phone number
- during the first 15 minutes we will welcome everyone and give a quick guide to contributing to the Tesla map.
- visit and reflect on each of the three map themes for 15 minutes in turn.
This online meeting will be partly an opening dialogue and partly a welcome party; so that the real knowledge federation work can begin thereafter. While you are encouraged to bring your own contributions and insights to the barn raising – and will be welcome to add these as comments and ideas to Tesla map and via the GoToMeeting dialogue – there is no requirement to do so.
We will add some of the ideas from our conversation to the map as they arise, and, watching us do so via the GoToMeeting shared screen will help you learn how to contribute directly yourself.
(3) Co-deliberation
Across the next week, and beyond, we would love you to add comments, questions, idea nodes, and links and related resources to the Tesla map to help us all collectively deepen our understanding of the three main themes and to identify the next, iterative steps in this co-creative project.
