Our Action Commitments

We confirmed that our initial target for the Co-Lab is San Diego: Health of the community, by the community for the community.

 
a. Jill and Brian will drive us to “Act for Impact” to have an example to talk about at the HOSA June 25-28 NLC, Anaheim

 

b. The HOSA chapter at UCSD is our best target local chapter and Antonio will introduce us to them. (HOSA template)

 

c. Mei Lin will follow up with the UCLA Center for East West Medicine to find out their game plan for HOSA outreach over the next few months. (UNIV template)  BY MARCH 31.

 

d. Kennan and Ramin will begin an initiative with the post-docs at UCSD
e. Mei Lin will reach out to Navy contacts and Casey to VA contacts for San Diego BY APRIL 6.

 

f. Helen and Antonio will connect local HOSA chapters in Carson and Long Beach to CareOnSite/OSCA by March 24. DONE.

 

g. Laleh and John Ozuna will develop the framework to get to “A trusted competent brand that can make us a healthier nation”

 

h. Mei Lin will talk with Jill about a learning community platform that could link HOSA and MRC chapters BY MARCH 31.

 

i. Kennan will speak with Anne Whatley about generative networking.

 

j. Jill will identify best San Diego MRC to work with UCSD HOSA chapter.

k. Mei Lin will brief Dan Desmond about Community Co-Lab BY MARCH 27.

 

l. Brian and Antonio will present at Cal-HOSA on how HOSA students can tap the assets of universities to improve the health of their communities. BY MARCH 27.
