Lived Experience of Mental Health and Distress

This debategraph is a community curation project that aims to collect and preserve people's accounts, blogs, narratives and stories of the lived experience of mental distress and health.

 Overview

This project seeks to collect and curate twitter dialogues, blog entries, websites and other potentially transient accounts of the lived experience of mental distress and health. It will also point to useful articles, research, books that speak to the central lived experience agenda. It provides a community platform for the discussion, commentary, critique and debate of such materials.

A community of curators can collect, seek permission from the originator, and link to, duplicate blogs to preserve and raise interest in the material. Twitter storifies can be embedded into the map and cross-linked to other relevant pieces. Twitter widgets can embed livestream hashtags direct into relevant pages too.

There are a variety of views - the 'page' view gives a nice central view of the relevant material with a contextual navigation pane. The 'bubbles' view gives a 'mind-map' perspective of the collated materials.
