How does local and national policy impact on the effectiveness, cost effectiveness, delivery and sustainability of local action to prevent obesity? Are there any unintentional consequences?

  • For example, policies on health and transport may conflict, if people are being encouraged to be physically active but are living in environments dominated by busy roads.
