A process approach to any size business in any part of the world. 

 

The "How" to run, change and transform any organization or agency.

 

The "What" always factors each of the following;

b) Process

c) Technology

The "When" ensures a road map with practical questions to ask in a sequenced manner as the questions are important for the effectiveness and completeness of unknowns and known situations faced by any organization or agency.

The "Why" enables a benchmarking of any organization or agency using the APQC framework as a template derived from collaborative work of more than 63 business stakeholders targeting to develop a tool to bridge enterprise and business architecture practices.

The list of processes at Level 2 would enable any operational work performed by any size business or a universal set of expected behaviors in the sequence we need to follow with each presented as outputs from the prior process serving as the input to the next process. 

Example; We must develop and design the vision and strategy in order to develop products and services. 

Stakeholders with Accountability for the Design of any business, organization or agencies Vision and Strategy are generally associated with the management at the C-Level with people managers supplying inputs for how they plan to accomplish the running of operations (Vision) and any incremental funding required to effectively deliver changes (Continuously Improve) or Transformation associated with Innovation (Strategy). 

Both C-Level Executives and all People Managers would have inputs which we measure against the outputs they produce when running, changing and transforming any organization or agency. 

How well did these resources plan, communicate, and inspire their workers to realize the vision and strategy of the planned outcomes?

 

Later Released

The following are ongoing and in my opinion children of the first five as they are services supplied to each of the first five capabilities and often cost to provide these requirements is an expense under general administration which uses a percentage by worker cost equally dispersed as overhead. 

The following are actually potentially value for shared services capabilities to increase capacity in local resources.

Every process above needs to consistently develop and manage their headcount or workers. 

7 Manage Information Technology

Every process above needs to consistently manage IT.

8 Manage Financial Resources

Every process above has ongoing plans, actuals and future expenses or financial cost and benefits.

9 Acquire, Construct, and Manage Assets

Every process requires the ability to acquire, construct and manage assets of various types.

10 Manage Enterprise Risk, Compliance, Remediation and Resiliency

Every process above may introduce risk, needs to understand their impact on meeting compliance, may need to mitigate in remediation and recover in a resilient manner. 

11 Manage External Relationships

Every process above has certain external relationships they are accountable and responsible to manage.

12 Develop and Manage Business Capability

Every process above has both shared and function specific business capabilities they will develop or manage.
