There are two user groups of Assembl: the Discussion Participants and the Harvesters.
- Discussion participants are users who wish to partake in the discussion, share ideas, or follow the conversation to keep informed.
- Harvesters are users who are chosen to harvest the key ideas from the discussions. The harvesters may or may not partake in the discussion but act as curators of the ideas generated in order to advance the discussion as well as setting the length of each discussion cycle.
