This graph got started with Jack Park and Thomas Moroz looked at the opportunity to federate the activities of many ngo-like entities, each seeking essentially the same outcome: the creation of tool systems which serve to augment human cognitive capabilities in the service of complex, urgent problems.

We decided to create a public Debategraph, this one, into which various communities can curate their various conversations. We do so together with the intention to facilitate the emergence of synergies, collaboration, and discovery.

A basis for this concept lies in Douglas Engelbart's coevolution of human and tool systems.
