Increased investment needed to stave off crisis

Royal Society urges nat'l investment in agricultural research tostave off a potential global food crisis of atleast US$3.3 billion over 10 years to fund a research studying global food crop security. GMO, strategic breeding and new farmingpractices are needed to increase sustainable yields.
