Minimal benefit to the poor, if any

Even disregarding arguments that raising the federal minimum wage could increase unemployment among the poor, the benefit to the poor is minimal.  Only 2.5% of workers make the minimum wage(http://www.bls.gov/cps/minwage2005.htm) and half of those are under 24 (http://www.bls.gov/cps/minwage2005tbls.htm#8)
