Heiligenfeld currently operates a rehabilitation center and four mental health hospitals in central Germany. The company was founded in 1990 by Dr. Joachim Galuska and Fritz Lang, after Galuska had tried unsuccessfully to apply his vision for a holistic approach to mental health problems in traditional mental health hospitals.
