Energy Return on Investment (EROI) for different energy sources?

EROI is is the ratio of the amount of usable energy acquired from a particular energy resource to the amount of energy expended to obtain that energy resource—and signals the net energy available to do useful work. Anything with a EROI ratio less than one is an energy sink.
