It suggests that they get their income from merchandise, sales, and tours. It also speculates that there may be a lot of potential profit in social networking sites such as Facebook. This article makes note of many events from Australia, where illegally downloaded music is especially a problem. In conclusion however this article forecasts that the future is bright. Many legal music downloading sites are becoming significantly cheaper and easier to use, and hopefully soon they will become the major way that people choose to download music and the illegal downloads will fade out and the artists and record labels will receive the retribution they deserve.
