Dreamfish

Project ended, but it is archived. What did Dreamfish do? At the individual level, Dreamfish facilitated leadership development. At the macro level, Dreamfish innovated relational ways of organization.

From the "farewell email"

Withgratitude, I want to share that Dreamfish as a project has ended. From2006-2013, Dreamfish was an early visionary project in the movementtowards a relational global economy in the 21st century. ReframingDreamfish's "end" with relational thinking, an "end" is actually compost. As Dreamfish composts, it becomes soil for more endeavors to grow ourbeloved world. Fertile soil is indeed something to celebrate!

What was Dreamfish? People on five continents, giving their hearts and hands to each other, and transforming along the way. This took many forms. Senior professionals from East Africa, Ohio, andSilicon Valley working alongside each other, while mentoring youth inNairobi. Women, young and old, from Taiwan, Rift Valley, and Atlanta,Georgia, learning from one another. Leadership coaching for women andyouth tech entrepreneurs. Thousands of grassroot social entrepreneurs inSan Francisco Bay Area networking together for learning and support. Please, join me in honoring the names of everyone who has given their efforts, funds, and love. Whatdid Dreamfish do? At the individual level, Dreamfish facilitatedleadership development. At the macro level, Dreamfish innovated relationalways of organization. A mouthful to say, but emotionally powerful toactually do! Each day, we stepped into the unknown of this big hairyvision, and explored howto interact with respect and mindfulness, how to collaborate in adistributed cross-cultural environment, how to meet our very diversevalues -- food security, safety, belonging, achievement, learning, purpose. Super challenging, super rewarding.

As a result, we grew and innovated. We developed ourselves as human beings and leaders. We cooked up new ideas, methods, tools, and language. To see stories, videos, slideshows of the Dreamfish journey, check out the new Dreamfish website ->>.
