Iranian missile tests heighten tensions

The Revolutionary Guard tested upgraded versions of Iran's medium-range Shahab-3 and Sajjil missiles on Monday 28 September 2009. Both missiles can carry warheads and have a range of up to 1,200 miles, putting Israel, U.S. military bases, and parts of Europe in striking distance.
