Military acton would need to be on a large scale, and involve a protracted air campaign, to stand any chance finding and destroying all of Iran's dispersed nuclear facilities. Iran's significant air defences would need to be destroyed.
Many sites are likely to be situated in heavily civilian-populated areas, or alongside or within sensitive sites like hospitals. Many civilians are likely to be killed or injured.
