1. Ability to provide "Google maps" style zoomable knowledge map of topic in question.
2. Allows us to think in spatial terms about information thus reducing the in-one-ear, out-the-other phenomenon of time-dependent information retrieval.
In addition DebateGraph allows us to link together kmaps in larger structures so that kmaps built by different groups of people at different times can be used to create different meta-maps.
