Conversation Between Helene Finidori and Giorgio Bertini
Giorgio's Project:
- Bringing change agents to work on projects: local communities, institutions. Further in development for alternative models.
- Bring orgs into transition, nomadic university. Occupy university. Reference: Popular education Pulo Freire.
- Help start multistakeholder process of dialog. (Suresh Fernando is also working on 'basis for unity' organizing multistakeholder processes at the grassroots)
- >> Need to go further than communities of practice - practice = action, ≠ change
- >> Need to put the change we are all working on into an orchestrated practice
- >> Need to create Communities of evolution
- >> Build of community of change & evolution practice, based on identity, knowledge, trust
The relation to the pull platform:
- Pull platform assists in the process, enriches the work & dialog in the communities:
- Knowledge base (methodologies & experience) to help the multistakeholder analysis
- Bring more people from different disciplines to a project in a scalable way
- Create networks of projects > Synergize
- Change and scale the tools in the process (Paulo freire's dialog)
- Visualize the flow of change
- Methodologies embedded in the platform
- Work step by step. Discovery journey.
- Push/pull mechanism: Pull = go get access+capability+accomplishment / Push = facilitation
- Integration of new projects or stakeholders in the network - Where will it fit?
- Feedback of experience and knowhow.
- Bonnitta Roy to assist in leveraging the generative processes and building narratives.
Possible collaborations and synergies
How do we tie these Practices of Facilitation to the Commons?
That would be one of the "for-benefit institutions which manage the 'infrastructure of cooperation'" as described by Michel in his Blueprint for a P2P Society?
Would they be the new Monks as described by Michel and the nomadic university, a new form peregrinatio academica? :-)
