What have we learned?
What did we learn through conducting this exercise?
1. We think there's a story to be written about the city budget over the last, say, 10 years. It's a story, we think, about what happens when you put a very rich businessman in charge of the budget of a large economy. It's a story of what is considered important and what should be cut.
2. We have learned that difographs are a great leveler.
3. This kind of map lets the casual viewer get a bird's-eye view of the issues quickly. It can be used as a navigation tool.
