Free Education?
Should OFW families be piloted for totally free education up to college? Should education spending be re-aligned for online education to enhance instruction quality?
We worry about and spend a lot of money for more classrooms every year. We also worry about books.
1. There was a time when books can be passed on to siblings, torn with extra loving care and written with "who has it said that we should not harm a book like a bee does to a flower, she steals sweet from it but does not harm it..."
Why then are we up to spending on new similar books every year? Going back to the old ways or going digital is by itself billions of savings and uncut trees!
2. Meanwhile, we also complain about low-level of instructions, lack of teachers and lack of classrooms. Could education be broadcasted by super professors over free tv and schools just used for socialization, sports activities and testing?
What about existing teachers? They remain as in-school tutors/mentors.
