Anti-science claim motivated by economic concerns
The claim that scientists are deliberately falsifying research for personal gain is only logical when the threat posed to a fossil fuel dependent economy is more important than the threat posed to humanity by climate change.
The same claim can be made for businesses who profit from damaging the environment
