Twenty20 can act as a subsidy for test matches

If we recognise that test cricket is the ultimate form of the game, but currently unsustainable in and of itself, then accepting Twenty20 as a diluted yet popular form that can subsidise the continued existence of test matches is the lesser of two evils.
