16Bn RMB program on nutrition status of rural students
China government provides 16 billion RMB each year to improve nutrition status (under-nutrition) of Chinese rural student since 2011.
=> The central government provides a nutrition meal supplement based on the standard of 3 RMB per day per student for rural compulsory education students.
=> Local governments are encouraged to carry out the nutrition improvement pilot in line with local conditions.
