Joint Design of a 3D printer output as a form of positive feedback

There are now fairly inexpensive 3D Printers that can assist in the design and "printing" of 3D objects. What if libraries had 3D Printers that were properly managed to produce 3D objects resulting from shared consciousness? Would joint design of objects serve as positive feedback?
