MLB employs thousands of Americans in 27 different American cities.

Every MLB team has an active roster of 25 players, another 15 on reserve, hundreds of ushers, ticket takers, parking attendants, front office employees, etc. Not to mention minor league affiliates, jobs created by sub contracting, and many other employment opportunities.
