Focus on what's excluded/marginalised by mainstream theories/policies
Post-structuralism wants us to take seriously what is excluded and marginalised by mainstream theories and policies; to investigate how constructions of the social world, people, places, events make particular interpretations and policies seem natural/legitimate and others unnatural/illegitimate.
