History of Intelligent Design
Following the Supreme Court's 1987 Aguillard decision ruling that teaching creationism in the public schools is unconstitutional, creationists met at Southern Methodist University in 1992 and at the Bible Institute Of Los Angeles in 1996 to find a term to substitute for the word "creationism".
