Global capitalism = to ensure powerful/wealthy stay that way

Marxism takes a critical view. It states that the effects of global capitalism are to ensure that the powerful and wealthy stay that way at the expense of the powerless and poor. In fact, the two are dependent: the prosperity of the few is dependent upon the immiseration of the many.
