Next Edge Agency Catalyst
Before we speak of tools. What is agency catalyzing? Setting up the conditions for people to exert agency (free choice and action toward desired outcomes). In practice it means providing the conditions under which potential change agents will engage in transitioning, the conditions under which people will participate in community/'political' life (bringing the greater WE governing the commons to life). Once we now the propitious conditions, the catalyzing elements for people to take first steps and keep the momentum going, we can build a whole array of things... Some of these elements are very simple: for example access to possibilities and ideas, matching possibilities with needs and interactions with affinities, visualizing impacts and outcomes, sharing practices, etc... It seems trivial... But we are not quite there yet ...
