GL ES: Spectrum: priorities and wireless innovation in Spain

Different perspectives presented their views, including telecomm operators, digital TV and Internet users. It was clear that the initiatives recently agreed at European level for the spectrum policy are on the right track, but that at national level there are differentinterests and visions


The spectrum can be better used to complement other broadband infrastructures, while leaving room for the development of digital television content. Though it is important to look long-term and support other options such as fiber deployment to better meet the high and increasing Internet traffic demands.
