The panel reported substantial progress in this field, since some Spanish Public Sector Bodies are excellent examples of bodies that implement policies that aim to maximise fully PSI re-use (e.g. Cadastre, IGN, Euskadi Portal), and which actions are being undertaken to support this policy.
For example, a study had been launched to sketch the PSI re-use potential market in Spain (€650 million), and the Government has recently launched a National Open Portal. In addition very recent legislation has been passed to develop and implement PSI re-use at a National level, which for example requires PSI re-use as the default rule.
