quick navigation guide to this system (Debategraph)
-- In the spatial views (on devices supporting Flash with enough screen space):
1. Hover the mouse over a node to get the
squeeze-read
-- a quick take on what's in it.
2. Click on a node to see those downstream from it.
3. Clicking on any node displays the Details panel associated with it.
4. Arrowheads indicate whether a node is downstream or upstream from its partners.
You can move nodes around on the difograph:
1. You can move the nodes around with click-and-drag.
2. you can move the whole map around by click-and-dragging on the background (the board) -- you might need to do this if some of the nodes disappear off screen.
3. You can go backwards and forwards along the track you have taken through the map using the buttons at the bottom of the screen.
-- In the Details View (on devices not supporting Flash, like the iPhone or iPad):
1. Links to other nodes are represented at the bottom of the screen, organized by section and, within that, importance ranking.
In both sets of views:
1. Elements on the difograph are sometimes be cross-linked. Look for yellow nodes.
2. Difographs can be linked together (statically and by hand at the moment) to form meta-difographs. Look for the rectangular nodes.
