Open standards

Service providers and suppliers talked of their commitment to ensuring their continued reliability and availability of systems. Delegates called on industry to lead the creation and maintenance of open standards being mindful of the challenges to information access.


There was support for a strong private sector-led strand to the work which would now take place leading up to the next conference in Budapest in 2012.
