Civilised society does not persecute minorities

Most drug users are responsible, sensible, hard-working and non-problematic. Using the law to persecute such individuals is similar to the law previously being used to persecute homosexuals, Jews, blacks or any other minority. No, the law should not reflect such prejudices.
