Deforestation and it's environmental impact (LIB)

Liberia hosts the only remaining blocks of closed canopy tropical rain forest within the Guinea forest; now down to 12% of its original size of 727,900 km sq. Liberia has 44% of the remaning forest area which is important to the subregion' environment heath but is under threat of depletion.
