New Study from Public Private Ventures

Public/Private Ventures is one of the leading research groups looking at the affects of mentoring, tutoring and non school programs. It is one of many sites available to expand the thinking of people working to build better systems to support youth from birth to work.

This pdf report, titled Testing the Impact of Higher Achievement's Year-Round Out-of-School-Time Program on Academic Outcomes, shows that longer term participation can lead to greater benefits. It's one of many reports on the P/PV web site, which is among the research links hosted on the Tutor/Mentor Connection's learning library.
