AU/Gaddafi Could be an 'Opportunity Deferred'

On February 11, 2009 Col Gaddafi (as the current chairman of the AU) said that he would like his proposed United States of Africa to include 'Caribbean Islands with African populations". This could distract from efforts at developing a united front in Africa's advancement.
