Completely removing dangerously obese children from the homes of parents who are unwilling to do their jobs as parents and see to the health of the child! Yes, junk food CAN be cheaper. Fast food is more convenient for a parent with two jobs. However a McChicken with no mayo, a side salad and a fruit & yogurt parfait costs the same as a double cheeseburger, fries and two apple pies, $3. A loaf of whole grain bread, some lean lunchmeat, mustard and a bag of apples and carrot sticks costs less than $15... And that will make 7-10 sandwiches with a side of fruit and veggies. Seven three dollar McDonald’s meal costs $21. And don't tell me a 12 year old can't make a sandwich or heat up a can of healthy ($2) soup!
