These are issues that take years to implement solutions, but having to conduct a study will not be utilizing time wisely. Instead, Americans demand answers... or else. So when stickers pop up on gas pumps stating the name of a foreign country, that is likely to be irrelevant to the gas actually in the pump, how does that solve the problem to US dependence on foreign oil?

The American value of haste cannot be wasted on a pointless study.
