Africa's HIV/AIDS Crisis (AFR)

During 2007 an estimated 22 million people in sub-Saharan Africa were living with HIV - about 1.9 million of those being infected in that year alone.  In 2006 an estimated 1.5 million people died from the AIDS epidemic with more than 11 million children being orphaned by this epidemic.
