2. Seek physical reality in the present and in the future

If our most pressing long-term issues are with physical resources and biological effects, we can’t resolve them without thinking in those terms.

Many organizations have made a start seeing process reality with “value stream maps” etc. A few others look at life cycles and mass-energy flows. Learn to think in these terms.

Physical consequences 50, 100, or 200 years from now resulting from actions taken now are exceedingly difficult to anticipate using this thinking. It is impossible without it.
